Subaru Hawaiʻi’s Love Promise is our commitment to show Aloha to our community and our customers at every interaction. As part of the Subaru Hawaiʻi Loves Learning Promise, we are launching our Tools for Schools campaign to support our local educators.
About our Tools for Schools Campaign
August 1 through August 31, 2023
Who is eligible to participate?
All Hawaiʻi public school educators who teach students in pre-K through 12th grade are eligible to apply for funding, but only one DonorsChoose account is permitted per teacher and each teacher can submit only one project.
How the program works
- Register your educator information on the DonorsChoose website to qualify.* If you already have an account, proceed to the next step.
- Request the items you need for your project. You can post a project at no cost to you!
- Subaru Hawaiʻi will fund up to $25,000 worth of projects requested between August 1 through August 31, 2023.
- Once projects are funded, DonorsChoose will order the items requested and ship it directly to you!
Sporting an "H" logo on your license plate is easy, inexpensive and fun.
Educators Discount Program
Subaru Hawaii is offering a special educator discount on any new or demo Subaru model. It's our way of saying Mahalo for your tireless efforts.
What are the dates of the application period?
How will projects be selected for funding?
Teachers can request funding for project resources like supplies, technology, and instructional materials that are available through DonorsChoose. Subaru Hawaiʻi aims to fund projects that reach students across the State, in both rural and urban communities.
When will I know if my project is being funded?
Project requests will be reviewed from September 1, 2023 through September 15, 2023. Subaru Hawaiʻi will fund approved projects thereafter, and no later than September 29, 2023.
Everyone can help year-round!
Due to high demand, we will not be able to fulfill all requests that come in during our campaign; however, you can choose to keep your project posted on the DonorsChoose site for up to four (4) months so friends, family and community donors can help fund your project during that period!
